A Creative Economy Programme for Egypt
TFCC has been commissioned by the British Council to develop a 3-year Creative Economy programme for Egypt. This will be based on engagement with senior policy-makers to co-design a set of strategic priorities and actions which the British Council can support. It will also involve a set of policy and partnership round tables in Egypt and a study tour to the UK for a high level Egyptian delegation.
This builds on over a decade of TFCC-led research, policy and partnership work in Egypt.

C-Ship Cultural Entrepreneurship Seminar, Brussels
Tom Fleming participated in the seminar: Art and Corporate World as Drivers of Reciprocal Mindset Change. This was as part of a series of seminars focusing on creative cross-overs and entrepreneurship led by Brussels Management School. This was billed as 'In Conversation with Tom Fleming'.

10-Year Evaluation of the PPL Momentum Music Fund, UK
Building from our previous evaluations of the Momentum Music Fund, TFCC has been commissioned by the PRS Foundation to undertake an evaluation of the first 10 years of the fund.
The PPL Momentum Music Fund offers grants of £5k-£15k for UK based artists/bands to break through to the next level of their careers. Activities eligible for support include recording, touring and marketing. It plays a vital role in supporting diverse talent from across the country to develop their careers in a time of digital transformation and with additional challenges such as Brexit and Covid-19.

The CoMuseum 2022, Athens and Thessaloniki, Greece
Tom Fleming provided a wrap-up keynote to the major plenary session at CoMuseum 2022 at the Benaki Museum in Athens. Then he led a workshop for museum professionals as part of a museum lab exercise in Thessaloniki.
CoMuseum is a major symposium on museum development and innovation. CoMuseum 2022 focused on healing through cultural and creative outlets. It explored how the cultural and creative sector may contribute to the recovery and development of our societies, institutions, and relationships.
This was the first in-person CoMuseum since before the Covid-19 pandemic. Tom Fleming sits on the International Advisory Board for CoMuseum.

Cultural Vision and Strategy for Hounslow, UK
TFCC has been appointed by London Borough of Hounslow to develop a new cultural strategy. This will explore the role that culture plays as a foundation for wellbeing, inclusion and renewal. It will focus on supporting talent, building audiences, improving town centres and enhancing perceptions of this incredibly diverse, dynamic part of west London.
